The funds collected from the adoptions are being spent to do more plantations and for better up keeping of the adopted tree.

Our main aim is to do plantation to make the Earth green and pollution free. Mr. Bal Kishan Kayan, is the Chairman of the Group Goldenagro, has done lots of Research and Development in the field of plantation for Areca Palm, Pitaya, Rubber & Gambier. These trees grow in the South East Asian Countries .

Depending on the Soil conditions, Mr. Kayan decides the process for planting these Trees. We have over 875 Hectare of plantations.

Mr. Kayan says that if grow wild trees and keep like Jungle, is not good for long term. This creates the wild fire and destroys the Green plants, and the fire again generates lot of CO2. Our concept is do plantation in organized way for a particular species. Keep the ground between the trees clean from the grass and dry leafs. Chance of any fire is thus 100% eliminated and the plantation can remain healthy. This cleaning of grass and removal of the dry leafs makes the project costly, but if we think in terms of preventing the wild fire and green Earth for ever, this is no cost if we want to live in pollution free air.

Mr. Kayan thinks in the manner to have plantation which can give some fruits after tree matures. In long term the maintenance cost of the planted tree will be covered from the fruits, the trees give from time to time. These plants are hardy and the fruits are also hardy.

All the land is 100% owned by these Group Companies and there is no risk of take over of the land by any agencies or Government body. The plantations will be for ever as long as the Earth exists. When ever any tree dies, we shall plant a new tree there.

We don’t believe in the planting the trees like Eucalyptus, Teak or other kind which have timber value. The tree which have value in the timber is always been cut at the maturity, which is equivalent to deforestation and cutting the green.

Global Warming is a big threat for the society now today. As per survey the water level of sea will rise as much as 2 meter by 2020 instead of 2050. This is a great concern. We have to plan well ahead of the situation going out of control and human are eliminated from this Earth. Plantation takes minimum 5 -6 years, so we have to act fast.

As per the available data, a large tree in a forest absorbs 20 Kg CO2 in one year.

• One Areca Palm Tree absorb 58.88 Kg  CO2 in one year.
• One Rubber Tree absorb 144.50 Kg. CO2 in One Year.
• One Pitaya Tree absorb 49.60 Kg CO2 in One Year.
• One Gambier Tree absorb 24.81 Kg CO2 in one year.
